Volunteering Opportunity: A partner NGO working towards education, need volunteers for class 12th students who will be free for two months after their exams in April.  Volunteers can plan extra-curricular activities like dance, dramatics or teach photography etc, promote awareness on relevant issues, engage in personality and skill development of the students or engage in any other education or fun based activity.

Duration: As per the volunteer convenience, need is for April and May 2011

1. Volunteering Opportunity: Speech & Language therapist volunteer for children with language and speech difficulty. Also some deaf children need to learn sign language. Ideal if volunteer can teach some techniques to NGO staff too.
   
   Volunteer Skills: Knowledge of Speech & Language training and /or sign language.
   Duration: Preferably 6 months, but if training staff, then 2-3 month will be sufficient.
   
   
2. Volunteering Opportunity: Special Educators: Need people trained in special education, with at least 2-3 yrs of experience and able to develop toolkits.
   
   Volunteer Skills: Trainers in Special education.
   Duration: flexible.
   
   
3. Volunteering Opportunity: Trained counselors.
   Volunteer Skills: Should be trained and experienced in counseling.
   Duration:  At least one year commitment, twice a week if possible.

Volunteering Opportunity: Our partner NGO has launched a friendship relation program, where the aim is towards holistic development by pairing an adolescent who needs attention and support, one-on-one with an advantaged person of the same gender.  It is to provide emotional and moral support. It is strictly non-material giving.
Volunteer Skills: dedicated, trustworthy, positive, good listener and motivating.
Duration: commitment of at least 1 year, needs only a few hours every month.

• Creative – photographers, video photographers, graphic designers, photo editors, writers and editors. Creating photos/videos/ articles or snippets and graphics for the website and printed materials. Commitment: A few hours a week or a fortnight


• Grassroots work – CSR has four Crises Intervention Centres : Chattarpur, Sangam Vihar, Uttam  Nagar, and in Sunder Nagri. Expanding the activities in the crises intervention centres. The work entails preparation for meetings in the community, mobilizing and networking and organising events.
  Commitment: Minimum 15 days of commitment
  
  
• Research – conducting a research project this includes: preparing questionnaires, field work, data entry, Concept paper .
  Commitment: Minimum three months
  
  
• Database management – building up databases in a number of different areas in CSR. These include: projects, potential funding, books and magazines.
  Commitment: Either for a few weeks running or on a regular basis minimum three hours once a week.

Target group: Children in the age group of 5 – 16 years

Volunteering Opportunity: To teach English and mathematics to children from low socio-economic and marginalized section of the society. Make teaching lessons interesting for these children helping them grasp lessons faster through fun and learn technique especially children in the age group of 5-7 years.

Duration:  2 hrs session (minimum four sessions a week for at least three months)
